A bootstrapped start-up based out of Amsterdam, The Vancrafters are entering the European market for DIY campervans, with a focus on high craftmanship carpentry construction.  Each unit is personalised to the owners needs, with an Ikea-like assembly process.

A brand mark developed around the Crimson-crested Woodpecker, a personal reference to the founders origins and the rainforests of French Guiana.

As natures own carpenter, the bird was drawn as a reductive modernisation, a symbol to echo the self constructed movable home nature of the product and the core brand ethos.

The mark was built to work in Block Sections, Line Form and a Combination of the two for flexibility across different application needs.
